Our company was established in 1986 under the name REEBOK CYPRUS to represent the Reebok brand in Cyprus.

The company was renamed AM PAPAKYRIAKOU LTD in 1992.

Since then, the company continued to grow with the addition of world known brands to it’s portfolio.

Parallel to that our company extended its retailing activities with the opening of new retail sport stores all over Cyprus. These shops are called Famous Sports and are the biggest chain of sport shops in Cyprus. We currently operate 17 Famous Sport shops , 2 Adidas Franchise shops and 2 Reebok Franchise shops , a total of 21 sport shops all over Cyprus.

In 2000 AM Papakyriakou also opened it’s first shop dedicated to children’s premium clothing and footwear brands under the name of Famous Friends. Today we run four Famous Friends shops , one in every city of Cyprus. We sell well known brands, Boboli, Ralph Lauren Lapin Toms, UGG and many more apparel and footwear brands. We also offer a premium, exclusive collection of baptism apparel, accessories all chosen and developed by our professional purchasing team.

In 2013 we launched our e-shop www.famousports.com with great success. We ship all over the world and have excellent service and response ratings. At the same time we are active in all social media representing and promoting all our brands and collections.
